582:11 Monday lunchtime with a dropped D

This lunchtimes 33 minute session takes me to 582:11 hours in total. Mostly played on the Rocksmith games, but some via playing 'for real' into a practice amplifier, and a little on the Yousician learning platform.

A mix of tunings today, with The Chimera, I Miss You, and Outshined played in Dropped D, the others were in E standard.

Using the Steam version of Rocksmith because someone forgot to pick up the PS3 disks after using them last night.

I need a suitable bag to hold basic kit for the guitar instead of relying on the pouch in the guitar.

580:43 Monday lunchtime again

Today's lunchtime session lasted for 25 minutes, taking my total time played to 580:43.

The songs were all in E standard tuning, apart from Chompers, which was in Drop D tuning.

Both Chompers and Cold Company involved two-handed tapping, with Cold Company also spending time at the dusty end of the fret board.

It does make sense, given that we only have one Thursday a week. A days leave tomorrow, so it's unlikely that I'll get a practice in. We'll have to see what Saturday brings though.

This session I played for 25 minutes, taking my total to 579 hours in total.

I did do some practice last night playing accoustically, and haven't had the time to update what I was attempting (mainly Chasing Cars).

578:38 Another short session

A shorter than usual session, as I was using the original Rocksmith game to practice against, and it takes a lot longer to switch between songs to practice. Not helped by having to check the tuning before every song!

I played for 24 minutes, taking my total time to 578:38 hours. The songs practiced today were Where is My Mind? by Pixies, Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd, House of the Rising Sun by The Animals, Use Somebody by Kings of Leon, Song 2 by Blur, Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol.
