Played better than I thought tonight

On the original Rocksmith I played 8 songs for around 35 minutes.

I focussed on the new songs, and although while playing didn't feel as I did that well I did play better on five of the six new songs. I also reached the qualification level for another song too, leaving only three that I need to qualify with.

House of the Rising Sun is going to be a challenge, I think I am going to have to give it a special focus and perhaps spend some time practicing the individual sections of the song.

First new set for ages, and qualified on first time round too!

On the original Rocksmith I played 6 songs for around 23 minutes.

I achieved the qualification scores for all of the songs in this set and I just needed to play most of these songs through once, the exception being Step Out of the Car that I had two tries at (scoring around 13796 the first time round).

I'm planning on playing the new songs two or three more times before attempting as a set, and think I should also include Next Girl. 

There are now 44 songs on the Rocksmith course that I've played now, when I get all of them played it will take over 3 hours to play through.

Completed a performanc

On the original Rocksmith I played 16 songs for around 52 minutes, and on Rocksmith 2014 I played for around 30 minutes. These were all done yesterday, but I didn't have time to update my blog.

I decided to attempt the next set as a performance, and earned an encore with a new song Icky Thump by The White Stripes, and earned 46068 points.

The performance also unlocked a new guitar and a new tone filter. One of these days I should look at what can be done with the various filters.
