For not touching a guitar all weekend, I was pleasantly surprised that all of the songs I practiced this morning showed slight signs of improvement.

Recently Played

Recently I have played the following songs out of the 196 song arrangements I have been learning.

Rocksmith 2014

Wasteland by EarlyRise. Improved my mastery to 14% (only an increase of 1%, so no big changes).

Bat Country by Avenged Sevenfold. I improved on my overall playing and gained 73% right with a streak of 53 notes correct in a row.

Love That's Gone by La Sera. Mastery improved to 25% (again a 1% increase, but every little helps).

Knockin' On Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan. I improved on my overall playing and gained 89% right.

Peace of Mind by Boston. I beat my previous overall score with 24.1%. I improved on my overall playing and gained 64% right. I also improved my streak to 74 notes right in a row - a distinct improvement on the 20 notes right that was my previous best.

This is the full list of songs that I have played on the two versions of the Rocksmith game.
The two versions of the game have different methods of calculating the scores. The original version just had the score, streak and percentage. In Rocksmith 2014 the score was dropped from the main results, and a mastery and an overall result was added.

The overall result can be over 100%, this occurs when a song is played in master mode. In Master mode, the game hides the notes you are expected to play. When you manage to successfully play the song in master mode, you have learned the song and should be able to play the song alongside a band or backing track.
