Focus on clearing a set

Instead of my usual run through of songs I focussed on the songs to complete the next set, playing for around 28 minutes.

The main song I needed to work on was Gobbledigook needing 41000 points to get qualified. I did get closer to the target, earning 39336 points my best attempt to date.

With Islands I managed to get well past the qualifier finally with the help of the riff repeater on the intro section.  The riff repeater plays a section of the song up to 25 times until you play the section correctly. I had bumped the difficulty up a little to work on something slightly more challenging.

I'm happy with Next Girl as long as the score is above 100,000 and 95% accuracy. I'd be ecstatic if I ever get 100% accuracy, best so far was 98%.

My plan for tomorrow is to do the same thing, play each of the set list songs once (warming up with Next Girl and possibly Angela) then use the riff repeater on Gobbledigook until I get past the qualifier. I think playing the three songs for the set at least twice each would be a good idea too.
