Bashing my Bass

Nearly an hour long session on the Bass this morning, this is the total time of the songs that I attempted (a couple of them were done twice as I hit the wrong button). No fancy techniques needed to day, but some of the songs have got some fancy fingerwork.

I'm stopping with the girlfriend this weekend, and only packed the essentials. Guitar, Bass guitar, PS3, Laptop. The only things I needed that I forgot were a couple of picks and my headphones. Oh, I did remember to bring clothes with me.

I've corrected an error in my spreadsheet that I'm using to track my progress. For some reason I had Knocking on Heavens Door as a two hour song.  Oops.  Corrected now. This means my total play time on the game has been corrected to 267 hours. I need to play for an average of 41 minutes a day to reach 500 hours by the end of the year.

Knights of Cydonia by Muse. I beat my previous overall score with 78.1%.

Knockin' On Heavens Door by Bob Dylan.

Mary Jane's Last Dance by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I beat my previous overall score with 86.6%. Since my last blog I've played this song 2 times .

My Generation by The Who. I beat my previous overall score with 85.6%. I improved on my overall playing and gained 87% right.

Paint It, Black by The Rolling Stones.

Paranoid Andriod by Radiohead. I beat my previous overall score with 56.2%.

Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard.

This is the full list of songs that I have played on the two versions of the Rocksmith game.
The two versions of the game have different methods of calculating the scores. The original version just had the score, streak and percentage. In Rocksmith 2014 the score was dropped from the main results, and a mastery and an overall result was added.

The overall result can be over 100%, this occurs when a song is played in master mode. In Master mode, the game hides the notes you are expected to play. When you manage to successfully play the song in master mode, you have learned the song and should be able to play the song alongside a band or backing track.
