Slapping the Bass

Tonight's session included a bit of slap with Higher Ground, power chords (yes, on a bass) with Number Thirteen, and an open G tuning with Unnatural Selection.

Some signs of progress on the bass too, oddly enough the biggest improvements was with Number Thirteen a song I find particularly challenging.

Now to do something different: possibly snooze in front of the tv.

Number Thirteen by Red Fang earning 45592 points beating previous best score of 42672. I got a new best streak of notes right with 66 correct. I improved on my overall playing and gained 79% right.

Unnatural Selection by Muse earning 46426 points beating previous best score of 39540.

Higher Ground by Red Hot Chilli Peppers earning 35893 points beating previous best score of 33526.

Run Back to Your Side by Eric Clapton earning 54757 points beating previous best score of 50930.

I Want Some More by Dan Auerbach earning 69827 points.

I Can't Hear You by The Dead Weather earning 60997 points beating previous best score of 52183. I improved on my overall playing and gained 87% right.

Space Ostrich by Dinosaur earning 63898 points beating previous best score of 61012.

This is the full list of songs that I have played on the two versions of the Rocksmith game.
The two versions of the game have different methods of calculating the scores. The original version just had the score, streak and percentage. In Rocksmith 2014 the score was dropped from the main results, and a mastery and an overall result was added.

The overall result can be over 100%, this occurs when a song is played in master mode. In Master mode, the game hides the notes you are expected to play. When you manage to successfully play the song in master mode, you have learned the song and should be able to play the song alongside a band or backing track.
