A beautiful day outside. So what did I do?

Yes, I got the guitar out for an hour or so then went and sat in Starbucks for a couple of hours coding.

On the original Rocksmith I played 11 songs for around 43 minutes .

The game recommended that I play Big Swing Baseball and I actually managed to get on the leader board this time with 53850 points at number  8.

I also had a go at the Em chord tutorial.

I'm getting closer to being able to get the fingering right for this chord.

This chord (and also Am) is played on Dan Auerbach's I Want Some More, one of the songs on my current practice list.

On Boys Don't Cry I noticed a new hammer-on had been added towards the end of the song - by the time I had realised it was there it was too late.

At the moment I'm shopping around for a cheap printer to print guitar tab sheets with - the cost of pads of tab sheets is a little much for me, especially as I will end up throwing loads away due to making mistakes.

The printer will also allow me to produce song sheets for my partner in musical crime so we might have something worth listening to before I hit 1000 hours of playing.

I've played for a total of 96 hours 6 minutes with only 9903 hours 53 minutes to go until I hit 10,000 hours: the point where you are supposed to have mastered an activity.
