It's Playstation update day

The Playstation has decided it needs another update, so I thought I'd best get it all done and dusted. But not until after my practice today.

As well as practicing songs, I also went through the Legate 101 lesson, with a total accuracy of 93%, and a skill of 96%. I'm currently at 43.9% overall.

Two of the mini-games were also attempted, with mixed results.

On Star Chords I earned 390,000 points which is fairly pitiful compared with my high score of 1,315,000 points.

I still haven't managed to complete Scale Warriors, so although attempted, I haven't managed to get to the end of the first section.

Speaking of which, today I have added another two songs onto the rhythm track, in order to complete a challenge on the game. In total, I have spent 342 hours 14 minutes playing on the Rocksmith games, in this session I played for 46 minutes.

I am learning 215 songs through the game, with 91 on the bass, 14 on rhythm guitar, and 110 on lead guitar (some I'm learning on all three).

It has been 94 days since I played all the song arrangements, and it would take around 31 hours to play them in one session. I don't think that is ever going to be likely!

Every Breath You Take by The Police. I got 71% right. Overall I earned 34.7%.

Paint It, Black by The Rolling Stones. I got 81% right. Overall I earned 60.5%.

Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard. I got 90% right. Overall I earned 62.8%.

R U Mine by Arctic Monkeys. I got 84% right. Overall I earned 55.8%.

Rocksmith 2014 Rhythm

Everlong by Foo Fighters. I got 71% right. Overall I earned 13.3%.

Cold Company by Minus The Bear. I got 75% right. Overall I earned 10.6% beating my previous best.

Knockin' On Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan. I got 82% right. Overall I earned 7.0% beating my previous best.

Thunder Kiss '65 by White Zombie. I got 82% right. Overall I earned 44.7% beating my previous best.

Don't Look Back In Anger by Oasis. I got 67% right. Overall I earned 39.5% beating my previous best.

This is the full list of songs that I have played on the two versions of the Rocksmith game.
The two versions of the game have different methods of calculating the scores. The original version just had the score, streak and percentage. In Rocksmith 2014 the score was dropped from the main results, and a mastery and an overall result was added.

The overall result can be over 100%, this occurs when a song is played in master mode. In Master mode, the game hides the notes you are expected to play, and you earn extra points for playing them correctly. When you manage to successfully play the song in master mode, you have learned the song and should be able to play the song alongside a band or backing track. Although playing alongside a band needs a lot of rehearsal time to sound good.
