Completed the Liberties Event

Bass

Today I  recorded my attempt at playing Angela by Jarvis Cocker on both Guitar and Bass. When I have time to get them mixed together, I'll post the result here for your enjoyment. I'm not sure how many people will bother to listen to the end though.

 I attempted the event at Liberties on the RockSmith game. I played well enough to get an encore with Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand and earned 58,204 points for the first time played on bass.

This gave me enough points to get into the next level of the game, and I'm apparently now a National Headliner (the background noise is me sniggering away at the idea anybody would want to listen to me - I don't know enough songs well enough to play at a local buskers session!)

The next venue the game has me playing at is Symphony Hall and playing Under over of Darkness by the Strokes, Use Somebody by 

I unlocked a new guitar, a Gibbo LP Junior DC Bass, as well as an Octave Up Pedal. This pedal will add the same note an octave away from the one you are playing - and apparently works best with single notes. I have a feeling that trying out the various virtual pedals on the game will end up with me needing to spend a substantial amount of money on real pedals.

I played 8 songs for 30 minutes. I have played for 9 hours 32 minutes in total with 9990 hours 27 minutes to go before I reach the point at which you are supposed to become an expert at an activity.

It has been 13 days since I have played all of the songs I have been practicing. It will take 2 hours 2 minutes to play through them all in one session.
